On 22 October, we celebrated our jubilarians at a dinner in the studio in Neu-Ulm:
The centre of attention was our chief designer Reinhold Unseld, who celebrated his 60th birthday this year as well as his 30th anniversary with the company. He has thus spent ‘half his life’ with and at BUSSE Design+Engineering. Over the decades, he has played a key role in shaping our design services within a broad mix of industries, represented by our customers and their products, with various teams.
Mr Unseld is our ‘Swabian pocket knife’ of design and, thanks to his extensive expertise, always has a technical solution, a suitable manufacturing process and a potential supplier to hand. Above all, it is important to him to find a practical solution that can be easily implemented in subsequent production. He is therefore often the ‘joker’ for his colleagues and many customer projects: ‘Just ask Unseld’ Many thanks for this tireless commitment!
Another person celebrating 10 years with the company is our design engineer Daniel Kraus, who joined us as a trainee and has established himself as an absolute great in the field of SolidWorks design: whether sheet metal assemblies or injection moulded parts, complex kinematic design or FEM calculations. In addition to the administration of the CAD system and the structured design methodology, he has implemented many an exciting WÜRTH product, such as WÜRTH system cases, workshop trolleys and drill boxes, and is our ‘Dr Rastermaß’.
Our technical product designer Mrs Fiedler, whose project work we were able to accompany at the end of her training, is also celebrating 10 years with the company. Mrs Fiedler is our link between the prototyping department, our sheet metal suppliers and the design department. She has already supported countless projects in the technical detailing and realisation of model construction. She also supervises many series production projects in order to guarantee the high quality standards of Busse. Component approval and actual production realisation are in her blood. She can therefore often be found in the workshop in her ‘blue overalls’!
Ms Clemens from the Project Administration department also celebrated her 10th anniversary: thanks to her conscientious and charming commitment, she ensures that customer projects are clearly recorded and integrated commercially so that colleagues can book their working hours correctly and transparently. Mrs Clemens ensures - after her re-entry - the allocation of work stages to projects. We are delighted that Mrs Clemens is back ‘on board’ after her maternity leave!
Last but not least, our workshop employee Michel Maiero had a milestone birthday this year, which we would like to celebrate in a fitting manner. As a trained carpenter, he is universally deployable in our prototype construction, sets up our CNC milling machines and, above all, is the man behind our own product UNIC dog boxes, which he customises according to customer requirements. - He is a man of action and fits perfectly into the ranks of those celebrating a long service at Busse.
We are proud of our long-serving employees and would like to thank them for their loyalty and dedication to shaping the products of tomorrow!
